Andrew Yap
BPhed/BEd. NCCP Level 4/5, Professional Coach designation with Athletics Canada Athletic involvement has been the catalyst to Andrew's training philosophy. Having competed in soccer and track and field at the university and semi-pro level, under the mentorship of multiple coaches, and through lifelong learning, he brings to his clients, up to date training methods and protocols that encourage athletes' physical, mental, social and emotional development. Bringing over 35 years experience of constant education, coaching, training and developing athletes to be their best, has positioned him as a trainer that provides results . A speed and conditioning specialist that believes in training all energy systems through safe, progressive and sequenced development programs. 
Alicia Marconi
B.Kin, CSEP-CEP & High Performance Specialist, Aquafit, Yoga & Cardio Instructor Exercise is something Alicia has always been passionate about. After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology at Brock University, she completed a post graduate program at Niagara College in Exercise Science for Health and Performance. As a Certified Exercise Physiologist and group fitness instructor, she has been working in the health and fitness industry for over 6 years. Alicia's experience includes sport specific training, team training, aquatic training, rehabilitation and fitness education workshops. Alicia's fitness philosophy is to continue to challenge oneself, set goals and never stop learning. She is a true believer that fitness can become a lifestyle; you just have to find the right style for your life! |
Karina Spencer-Yap
PTS Can-Fit-Pro Brings over 35 years experience of fitness industry experience training all levels of athletes. Skilled in assessing and maintenance of proper body alignment for injury free and effective training results. She is a certified personal trainer and spinning instructor. Her athletic background includes gymnastics (level 2 certified coach), weight training, rowing and dance. Karina loves to help people of all levels attain their goals. 
Keveshan (Kev) Padachey
BPhed/BEd, CSEP-CEP & High Performance Specialist Keveshan comes from a wide variety of sport backgrounds and specialized in basketball, playing and coaching at the university and college level. He graduated from Brock University where he received a degree in Physical Education as well as a Bachelors in Education. He then continued his education at Niagara College in Exercise Science for Health and Performance. Keveshan’s views on strength and conditioning have been built through his own experiences as an athlete as well as his past internships at Brock University and here at Speed Unlimited. His philosophy on strength and conditioning “I take the proactive approach with my clients through the promotion of physical fitness, nutrition, social well-being, and positive lifestyle choices.” His goal is to develop fundamental athleticism to improve his client’s mobility and functionality. |
